Build care and wellbeing into your calendar to support you through the seasons.
If there is one thing we are passionate about at Amble it is rest! A reminder that the pace of life around us is unfathomably fast, our primal bodies can't be expected to keep up with the speed of technology. And yet that is what we ask of ourselves day after day. The amount we expect to achieve within a day, a week, a month is wild. It is not long ago that simply getting our clothes washed and dried would have been percieved as a productive days work.
In a world that pushes us to achieve more and to be more things to more people, to slow down and relearn rest is a radical act. Only when we rest can we gain the perspective to really step back and see ourselves with clarity, only when we are quiet, still and comfortable can our nervous system truly settle.
That is why we have a regular series of events that champion rest. Below I share upcoming events hosted by Ati from Surrey Hills Wellbeing. Ati's multi modal experience and warmth and compassion will support even those who fear slowing down to tap into an innate stillness and source of wellbeing.
I truly hope you feel inspired to support yourself through these regular invitations to pause.
