The Amble Café is a warm and welcoming space in the heart of Gomshall, in the Surrey Hills, with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of reasons to pause awhile.
We serve locally roasted coffee from our neighbours at Surrey Hills Coffee, alongside a selection of teas from New Forest Tea Company, refreshing drinks from Karma Drinks, delicious cakes and ice creams. At weekends, we also serve pastries from Chalk Hills Bakery — perfect for a leisurely breakfast or coffee stop.
Families, dogs and cyclists are all very welcome here. We’re conveniently located on the 2012 Olympic cycling route, making Amble an ideal stopping point for cyclists looking to rest and refuel while exploring the Surrey Hills. We’re also a lovely place to stop after a walk or simply meet a friend for coffee and cake.
The café is now indoors, but if you’d rather enjoy your coffee outside, you’re very welcome to take it through to the Yard, where you’ll find covered booth seating and bistro tables.
