A monthly hour to be still, in a world that keeps moving

We're so pleased to share that Yin Yoga is returning to Amble as a monthly offering, a class lead by the very skillful Debi.In a world that rarely asks us to slow down, Yin is a quiet act of resistance. Where so much of modern life (and so many movement practices) is yang- fast, dynamic, effortful- Yin works in the opposite direction. Poses are held for several minutes at a time, passive and generally floor-based, letting gravity do the work while you simply breathe and settle. It's a practice that works on the deeper layers: the connective tissue, the fascia, the joints. And just as much, the nervous system. If you leave most classes feeling energised, you'll likely leave a Yin class feeling something rarer- genuinely still.Debi's first session back is on Thursday 14th May, 6–7pm.No experience needed. Just comfortable clothing and a willingness to let go of the pace for an hour.— How to book —
